Halifax Rack and Screw

Established in 1953, HRS has become one of Europe’s largest specialist manufacturers and suppliers of gear racks, pinions, trapezoidal power screws, jack screws, Acme feed screws and nuts, together with a full CNC machining facility.

Initially founded to serve the precision machine tool industry, more recent diversification into many other industrial sectors has seen continuous growth which now has HRS exporting worldwide.

With an ongoing strategy of capital investment, including a recent investment of almost $4M on new machinery, IT and training. HRS employs over 30 people in a 30,000 square foot, purpose-built manufacturing facility in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, UK.

·         HRS also offers a “Total Solution” philosophy with the supply of parts and assemblies to save time and money for customers, without the many disadvantages of dealing with multiple suppliers.

·         HRS carries an extensive stock of raw materials that facilitates quick production of many parts and shorter lead times, which support many Kanban parts scheduling contracts.
