Reaction Wheel for attitude control of Small Satellites
Satellite constellations, which systems that function in coordination of multiple satellites, are expected to be used in various fields such as defense, maritime, disaster prevention and the environment. The new reaction wheel was developed as an attitude control device for satellites in the 100-150kg class, which is the mainstream classification for satellite constellations. Equipped with 3 or 4 axes, it accelerates and decelerates the angular velocity of the wheel and controls the change in momentum in the attitude.
